Who Breeze suits

Breeze suits travellers heading to Europe, the USA or worldwide who want simple prepaid data. Its range runs from small data packs to unlimited data, so you can match the plan to your trip.

You pay once for the data and the days. There is no contract and no monthly bill, which suits short breaks and holidays. Your phone must support eSIM and be unlocked. The days usually start when the eSIM first connects abroad, so check them against your travel dates.

Travel eSIMs like this usually give data only, so keep your UK SIM on for calls and texts. If you want a different country, a different data size or a longer stay, compare travel eSIMs in our table before you buy.

Plans and prices

Breeze sells travel eSIM plans for Europe, the USA and worldwide, from small data packs to unlimited data. For Europe trips, see eSIM for Europe.

Each plan is prepaid: you pay once for the data and the days. Our table shows Breeze's plans with their region, data and validity. It ranks plans by price, cheapest first. If two cost the same, more data comes first, then the longer validity.

To compare value, work out the price per GB: the cost of each gigabyte. Divide the price by the data, and the lower figure wins. For rival options, see Airalo, Saily or Nomad. Every price is read from the provider's own website, and each table shows the date it was last checked.

How to set up Breeze

You can set up a Breeze eSIM at home in four simple steps.

  1. Install at home on Wi-Fi. Do this before you travel, so the plan is ready when you land.
  2. Add the plan. Scan the QR code or tap install in the Breeze app. Nothing is posted to you.
  3. Set it as your data line abroad. Choose the Breeze eSIM for mobile data, then turn off data roaming on your UK SIM.
  4. Wait for your destination network. Your plan's days usually start when it first connects there.

Keep your UK SIM switched on for calls and texts.
