Who EE suits
EE SIM-only plans suit people who want plenty of data and 5G on EE's own network. Every plan includes 5G, and our table has five EE plans, from 50GB to unlimited data.
Families and frequent travellers may also like them. You can gift data to your family, and some extras include 50GB of EU roaming data. Sort the table by data to find the allowance that fits your use.
EE is a weaker fit if you want to stay flexible. Its plans run on 24-month contracts, so you stay tied in for two years. If you want to leave with a month's notice, a 30-day SIM may suit you better. Compare every option in the cheapest SIM-only table.
Network and coverage
EE SIM-only plans run on EE's own 4G and 5G network, which BT Group owns. Every plan in our table includes 5G, so you get the same network that EE customers use.
Every UK SIM-only brand runs on one of four networks: EE, O2, Vodafone or Three. Brands on the same network share its coverage. If EE covers your home and work, its SIM-only plans will too. Want a different network? Compare O2 SIM-only deals, Vodafone SIM-only deals or Three SIM-only deals.
Check your signal first. Look at coverage where you live, work and travel most. Then sort the table by real cost to find the cheapest EE plan.
What it really costs
Every EE SIM-only plan in our table runs for 24 months, and we rank them by real cost.
Real cost is everything you pay over the contract, including any price rises, divided by the number of months. EE states its mid-contract price rises in pounds on its deal page, and our table builds them in. So the real cost shows what you will actually pay.
Extras can change the total. EE lists 5G+, which it says is up to 45% faster than 5G. EU roaming is included on EE plans, and some plans list 50GB of EU roaming data. Sale prices come and go, and the table always shows today's.
