Is a bundle worth it?
A bundle is worth it only if its real cost beats two separate deals. Add up both totals before you sign.
Start by pricing the cheapest broadband on its own. Then add a monthly TV pass, such as a NOW membership. Free Freeview costs nothing, so compare that too.
A bundle ties your TV and broadband to one contract. Broadband contracts in our tables run for 24 months, so check the TV terms too. Ofcom rules say any new price rise must be stated in pounds and pence when you sign up. Add those rises to your sums.
Compare real cost, not the first monthly price. Our tables do this for you, so sort by real cost and see which option wins.
How to choose a bundle
Start with the channels you watch, then pick the broadband speed you need. Those two choices decide which bundle fits you.
Freeview is free with no subscription. NOW sells Entertainment, Cinema and Sports memberships. In the 2025/26 season, Sky Sports showed up to 215 live Premier League matches, and TNT Sports showed 52. You also need a TV licence to watch live TV on any channel.
Advertised speeds are a guide. Your address, router and Wi-Fi decide what you really get. Part-fibre broadband is slower, and its speed falls with distance, so full fibre is the safer pick for a busy home.
Broadband contracts in our table run for 24 months, so check the price rises before you sign. BT and EE state mid-contract rises in pounds, and our table builds them into the real cost. Sort the table by real cost, then check your postcode on the provider's site. You can also compare cheapest broadband options.
Switching a bundle
Contracts agreed online or by phone come with a 14-day cooling-off period. If you change your mind in that time, you can cancel.
Your provider must tell you 10 to 40 days before your contract ends. It must also show you its best deals. Use that notice to check the table again before you agree to anything new.
Ofcom's One Touch Switch makes switching broadband simpler. Since 12 September 2024, you only contact your new provider. It tells your old provider and arranges the switch for you. Then compare TV deals to pick your next bundle.

Questions people ask
- Is it cheaper to bundle TV and broadband?
- Not always. A bundle is only cheaper if its real cost beats buying broadband and TV separately, so compare both in our tables. EE shows the switching benefit: it credits up to £300 towards leaving fees if you switch TV too, against up to £200 for broadband alone.
- Which TV and broadband bundle is best?
- The best bundle for you is the one that ranks first by real cost for the channels and speed you need. Our tables rank every deal by real cost, cheapest first, so the top row is the best value today. Check the date of the last price check, then confirm your postcode on the provider's site before you decide.
- Can I keep my TV if I change broadband?
- Often yes, but it depends on how your TV is sold. Freeview with an aerial needs no broadband, so it keeps working after you switch. Sky Stream and Freeview Play run over broadband, so check how they will work with your new provider before you switch.
