Our money
How BuyingExpert makes money
BuyingExpert is free to use. Some providers pay us a fee when you switch through our link; you pay their normal price, and the fee never changes the order of our tables.
01
The short version
BuyingExpert is free to use, and you never pay us. Some providers pay us a fee when you switch through our link, but you pay their normal price. That fee never changes our order or your price. Most providers in our tables pay us nothing, and they are listed just the same.
02
How the fees work
Using BuyingExpert is free. When you switch through some of our links, the provider pays us a fee. You pay the provider's normal price. The fee never adds to your bill.
Some of these links run through an affiliate network such as Awin. The provider pays that fee, never you. Fees range by product and provider.
Fees never change the order of our tables, and they never change the price you pay. See which providers pay us on our disclosure page.
03
Why fees never change our tables
Fees never change our tables because we rank by real cost, and the ranking code does not read whether a provider pays us.
The cheapest deal comes first. If two cost the same, the faster broadband or bigger data allowance goes first. Providers that pay us nothing are listed too, and most of the providers in our tables pay us nothing.
Each table that includes a paying provider carries one small "Affiliate" tag underneath. The tag links to this explanation. Our disclosure page lists every provider that pays us.

Why we work this way
Honest picks keep you coming back, and that is the business we run. If our tables favoured the providers that pay us, you would stop trusting them. So we rank every deal by real cost and show you the facts behind it. You can read how we rank deals at any time.
