Who Rise Fibre suits

Rise Fibre suits people who live inside its own network and want full fibre. Full fibre means a fibre cable runs all the way into your home. Part-fibre uses copper for the last stretch, so it is slower.

Rise Fibre is a regional provider based in Altrincham. It also holds a UK Customer Experience Gold Award for its service. Its full fibre speeds may suit homes where several people go online at the same time.

It is less suitable if your postcode is outside its network. Check your postcode first. If Rise Fibre does not reach you, compare full fibre deals from other providers.

Where it reaches and how fast it is

Rise Fibre sells broadband only where its own full fibre network reaches, with speeds up to 1Gbps. It is a regional provider based in Altrincham, so not every address can get it.

Full fibre, also called FTTP, runs a fibre cable all the way into your home. Part-fibre broadband uses copper for the last stretch, so its speed falls with distance.

Check your coverage first. Enter your postcode on Rise Fibre's site to see whether its network reaches your address. If it does not, compare other full fibre deals before you decide.

Treat 1Gbps as the advertised top speed. The speed you get depends on your address, your router and your Wi-Fi.

How to see your price

Enter your postcode on Rise Fibre's website to see the price for your own address. The figure you see applies to your home, not a general price.

Read what the package includes before you subscribe.

Ofcom rules help you spot future rises. Since 17 January 2025, any new broadband contract must show a price rise in pounds and pence when you sign up. Percentage and inflation-linked rises are banned in new contracts.

To judge the deal fairly, compare its real cost with the national deals in our cheapest broadband table. Real cost adds every monthly price, every stated rise and any setup fee. It then subtracts any reward card value and divides by the months in the contract. Every table shows the date its prices were last checked.
