Who NOW broadband suits
NOW broadband suits people who want full fibre and do not need a landline. Full fibre means a fibre cable runs all the way into your home. Its three packages advertise speeds from 80Mb to 300Mb, so you can match the speed to your household.
If you mainly browse and stream on one device, the slowest package may be enough. Households with several people streaming at once may want a faster package. Check how many people use the connection before you choose.
NOW comes without a landline, so it suits homes that make calls on mobiles. If you need a home phone number, compare other providers first. Deals are for new customers only.
Check your postcode on the provider's site, then compare the packages in our table. You can also see cheapest broadband deals from other providers.
Network, speeds and availability
NOW broadband runs on full fibre, with advertised speeds from 80Mb to 300Mb across three packages in our table. Full fibre means a fibre cable runs all the way into your home.
Most providers, including NOW, sell broadband over the Openreach network. Some, such as Virgin Media, run their own networks. NOW says full fibre reaches 79% of UK homes. Your address decides what you can get.
Check your postcode first. Enter it on NOW's website to see which packages your home can get. If NOW does not cover your address, compare other providers in our broadband deals table.
Table speeds are the speeds providers advertise. Your real speed depends on your address, your router and your Wi-Fi. Then sort the table by speed to find the package that suits you.
What it really costs
NOW broadband contracts run for 24 months, and NOW's deal page states no price rise in pounds for these packages. NOW also lists £0 delivery as an extra with its broadband.
Since 17 January 2025, Ofcom rules say broadband providers must set out any price rise in pounds and pence when you sign up. Percentage and inflation-linked rises are banned in new contracts.
Compare the real cost, not the advertised price. Real cost includes every monthly payment, stated rises and any setup or delivery fee, averaged over the contract. Check where NOW ranks in the table, then compare rivals on our cheapest broadband page. Each table shows the date its prices were last checked.

Questions people ask
- Is NOW broadband good value?
- Whether NOW broadband is good value depends on its real cost against rivals in our table. We rank every deal by real cost, cheapest first, so check where NOW sits before you decide. Real cost adds up the monthly price, any stated price rises and any setup fee, averaged over the contract.
- Does NOW raise prices mid-contract?
- NOW's deal page states no price rise in pounds for these packages. Since 17 January 2025, Ofcom rules say any price rise in a new contract must be shown in pounds and pence at sign-up. Inflation-linked and percentage rises are banned in new contracts. Before you sign, check the price on NOW's own site and look for any rise written in pounds.
- How do I switch to NOW?
- Choose your NOW deal in our table, then sign up online or by phone. When you switch broadband between networks, Ofcom's One Touch Switch means you only contact NOW, which tells your old provider and arranges the switch. NOW deals are for new customers only, and you have a 14-day cooling-off period to cancel after signing up.
