Who iD Mobile suits
iD Mobile suits people who want lots of data, EU roaming and no annual price rises. Its seven SIM-only plans run from 15GB to unlimited data, and every plan includes 5G.
Heavy data users can choose up to unlimited data. Unused data rolls over for a month, so spare gigabytes are not wasted.
Frequent travellers also gain. EU roaming is included on iD Mobile plans in our table, and iD lists roaming in 50 destinations. Unlimited minutes and texts are included too, so you need not count calls.
It may suit less well if you want to leave at short notice. The 30-day plans give you that freedom. The 12 and 24-month plans are cheaper up front but tie you in. Compare the real cost in the table, then choose the length that fits your plans. You can also see every cheap SIM-only deal.
Network and coverage
Every iD Mobile SIM-only plan in our table includes 5G. iD Mobile runs on the Three network, so its plans use Three's coverage.
Every UK SIM-only brand runs on one of four networks: EE, O2, Vodafone or Three. Brands on the same network share its coverage. Any other brand on Three gives you the same signal, so compare prices as well as networks.

What it really costs
iD Mobile has three plan lengths: 30-day rolling, 12 months and 24 months. A 30-day plan rolls month to month, so you can leave with a month's notice or less. A 12 or 24-month plan is cheaper up front, but it ties you in.
iD Mobile lists no annual price rises. Ofcom rules say any price rise in a new contract must be stated in pounds and pence when you sign up. Percentage and inflation-linked rises are banned in new contracts.
Extras include unlimited minutes and texts, EU roaming, and roaming in 50 destinations. Unused data rolls over for a month.
